Joe + Lauren Secret Garden, Margaret River

Joe Bennett and Lauren Poynton's wedding on the weekend was our last wedding of the year. It was a lovely way to finish the year in one of Margaret River's most beautiful wedding venues, Lauren's mothers amazing Secret Garden. The Secret Garden is the perfect place for a wedding. Joe and Lauren held their reception at nearby Brookland Valley. The Secret Garden was in full bloom and Lauren and Joe's ceremony on the wisteria walk was perfect. The soft lilacs of the girls dresses mirrored the garden flowers. The gentle colours where everywhere on the day with marquees set up on the lawns at Brookland valley full of fresh flowers from Pat's garden and plenty of soft pastel cushions on the sofas for guests to relax on during the cocktail style reception. Head chef Francoise of Flutes restaurant cooked up a fantastic menu for the guests.
Joe and Lauren used Lauren's Dad's retro cars for the photo shoot before heading back to the reception. Lauren changed from her amazing Pallas gown into a cute little Pallas cocktail dress for the final part of the reception. Things that we loved about this wedding... lilac and soft pastel colours....cushions... flowers every where....beautiful gowns ...a cheeky cocktail dress....retro cars.....amazing cocktail food...Champagne...a happy fun bridal party...
